Cardiff Sixth Form College was founded in 2004 as a small, private tutorial college, dedicated to pioneering a new approach. Combining small class sizes, excellent teaching and individual attention for each student, we believed in nurturing potential – and the results were first class.

Since then, we have grown in every way – more staff, more teaching, more success! Now, Cardiff Sixth Form College has reached its goal – the Top Independent School in the UK by A-Level results for the last nine years!

In 2017, 92% of students achieved A*-A grades, whilst 99% of students achieved A*-B grades. Our students strive for top universities worldwide and we are keen to reach out to as many institutions as possible to realise our students’ dreams and make them a reality. We acknowledge our vital role in being a ‘stepping stone’ to our students’ future success and therefore do all we can to support their applications to the next stages of their education, training and work.

Cardiff Sixth Form College is a thoroughly multi-cultural environment. We are proud of our diversity and we now have students from over 30 different nationalities studying in our college. Talented students from all over the world contribute to a stimulating and diverse educational environment. We also support the most ambitious and intelligent local students to come to our college on merit-based scholarships to help them aspire to the brightest futures.

We are proud of our origins, but now we are looking forward to the future. We aim to continue striving for success; standing at the forefront of disciplined and creative teaching for generations to come.
